Jurassic World Evolution Runs At ‘4K’ On Xbox One X, Supports HDR

Xbox Play Anywhere could be introduced later as well.

With Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom opening right now, the Dino-mania is set to spread once again, which is exactly what the developers of Park Management Sim Jurassic World Evolution is hoping for with their upcoming June 12 release on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

With players soon able to manage their own park where science goes way further than man should have ever gone, Frontier participated in an AMA on r/xboxone, with three of its developers answering numerous questions. The highlights of which suggest that while it won’t be in at launch, Xbox Play Anywhere could be introduced later. Furthermore, Xbox One X will offer its players the chance to enjoy the game in 4K with HDR. However, it’s not clear whether this will be native 4K.

Finally, Lead Designer Andrew Fletcher believes that even those new to the genre will be able to enjoy the game thanks to a shallow learning curve, and the game gating progression behind dig sites which you’ll need to work up to as you create more and more dinosaurs.
