After four long years since its crowd-funding campaign first began, Warhorse Studios’ Kingdom Come: Deliverance is now available for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. The first person action RPG set in medieval times has seen its fair share of delays but you can finally witness early 15th century Bohemian combat and culture first-hand.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance focuses on Henry, the son of a blacksmith whose family is brutally murdered by a band of mercenaries that attack his village. He’s subsequently drawn into a struggle filled with political strife and medieval warfare to avenge his family.
Thus far, reviews for Kingdom Come: Deliverance are mixed. The PC version currently has a Metascore of 74 based on 13 reviews with the positives focusing on the world and how alive it feels. The negatives are fairly significant though with numerous bugs, performance issues and much more polish needed. However, even the negative reviews believe there’s a brilliant game to be had beneath all the issues.
