Kingdom Hearts 3: Dev On Whether Decorations Will Be Added In The Game

Nomura says he's "still not sure."

Square Enix’s Tetsuya Nomura, who is serving as the Director on Kingdom Hearts III, has been talking about the next main entry in the RPG franchise, and recently spoke about whether or not some of the content we saw in the recent Kingdom Hearts 2.8 might make its way into Kingdom Hearts 3 as well.

When asked about the decorations in Kingdom Hearts 0.2 in an interview with Famitsu, and whether they had been chosen for the game by members of the staff, he said, “The plans as well as all the choices were all by the staff. There were some designs I had to decline, but mostly all of it was implemented into the game.”

When he was further asked if such decorations might even make their way into Kingdom Hearts III, he said that he wasn’t sure, that the game would already be quite packed full of content as it is. “I’m still not sure,” he said. “Since [KH0.2] is a short episode, the plan was to add them in to give some sort of additional content for replay value. As for [KH3], there are already plenty of other factors implemented for that sort of replay value, so it all depends on the state of development as time goes on.”

Last week, we reported that Nomura had moved to reassure fans that even if though the release of Kingdom Hearts 3 was a ways off, the quality of the final product would not suffer.
