In Kingdom Hearts 3, Sora will be able to play a whole bunch of minigames on his LCD portable game machine. The minigames themselves are very much reminiscent of older Disney cartoons and LCD-type games from the 1980s. Initially, we had got to see these minigames in a trailer which was revealed during a Kingdom Hearts Union X[Cross] fan meet-up in Anaheim, California. Now, some more information about these minigames has been revealed by Game Director Testsuya Nomura.
There will be over 20 mini games called “Classic Kingdom” to discover and unlock. Some of these minigames will also be available to play on Kingdom Hearts Union X[Cross] before Kingdom Hearts 3’s release. Additionally, there will be an event in Kingdom Hearts Union X[Cross] which will be related to the release of Kingdom Hearts 3. Basically, players can choose to participate in the event (by filling up this form) and over 300 lucky players’ names will be displayed in Kingdom Hearts 3. Players will have to earn points in three different categories: login days, high score challenge, and toon moogle medals.
It certainly looks like Square Enix is doing their best to hype up fans for the release of Kingdom Hearts 3 which is set to release later this year for Xbox One and PS4.
