LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight Hits 1 Million Wishlists on Steam

Looks like there's a lot of you out there with an Arkham-shaped void that you've just been aching to fill for all these years.

There’s just something about broody billionaire playboys who like to dress up as bats and beat up bad guys, isn’t there? It seems a lot of you agree with LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight hitting a million wishlists on Steam, ahead of players prepping for the Deluxe Edition’s early access before the game’s May 22 release worldwide.

The announcement accompanies early impressions of the game that are looking quite good. We found it quite enjoyable and solid take on the Arkham formula that remains strong enough to stand out on its own. Gotham City’s a major part of its draw, just as it should be, while the combat and stealth mechanics work well with the game’s story and systems to make filling the Dark Knight’s shoes both entertaining and challenging.

Granted, it can get a tad repetitive at certain points, but this one is definitely a worthy addition to the collection of any Batman fan (or a fan of solid open-world titles in general).

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight will be available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC when it launches this week. Nintendo Switch 2 players will have to wait longer with TT Games yet to confirm a release date, but based on reviews thus far, it should be worth it.
