Peripheral maker Mad Catz will be handling publication duties of the eagerly anticipated Rock Band 4 alongside Harmonix, they announced today.
“Co-publishing the game allows us to work closer than ever before with Harmonix, delivering a seamless experience from game through hardware and ensuring that we focus on the needs of the gamer first and foremost,” wrote Mad Catz’s Alex Verrey on the official Mad Catz Blog.
Of course, Mad Catz, which is the prominent manufacturer of official peripherals for games and game systems, has a vested interest in pushing Rock Band 4, as it will be manufacturing official new wireless controllers for use with the game (even though previous generation controllers that players have amassed over the last three Rock Band games will all be compatible with the new game).
Right now, this was all the information that Mad Catz or Harmonix gave us, promising us more at E3 this year. Stay tuned to GamingBolt.
