Madden NFL 24 Announced for PC and Consoles, Due Out on August 18

The next iteration of the Madden NFL franchise has been announced. Titled Madden NFL 24, the game will tout cross-play, improved realism, and more.

EA has announced a new iteration of its popular American football franchise. Dubbed Madden NFL 24, the game was announced with a reveal trailer that you can check out below. It will be coming to PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on August 18.

One of the key features of Madden NFL 24 will be the addition of cross-platform multiplayer between PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. The current-gen versions of the game will also have feature parity, while the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game will be missing some of the features present in the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions of the game, like Superstar Mode and mini-games.

Madden NFL 24 will also feature what is being referred to as SAPIEN, which revolves around the studio rebuilding player skeletons in the game to provide more realism when it comes to body definition and player physiques in the game. This level of realism is also slated to give us anatomically-correct players and more true-to-life movement patterns.
