For Microsoft, this will be the year of the Scorpio, their upcoming super powerful Xbox console- this is something the company has made clear quite a few times already. And as for when we might see more of the Scorpio, a full reveal will probably be saved for E3 this year, where the Scorpio is likely to take the centerstage during Microsoft’s keynote presentation.
Implicitly, Microsoft set the expectation of something big happening at E3 today, with Major Nelson starting countdown to E3. It is clear that this E3 is going to be a big one for the Xbox team- and the Scorpio provides Xbox with a chance for a full reset from all the blunders made with the Xbox One, and a fresh start.
E3 will be from June 13 to June 17 this year; Microsoft’s E3 conference is likely to be held early on the morning of June 12. Stay tuned to GamingBolt, however, and we will keep you posted with the official news and announcements as they come.
