Media Create has released its latest sales information for Japan, and it appears that the Nintendo 3DS XL is on top again (which has pretty much been the trend for the past year or so anyway, so no big surprise). It managed to sell 26,042 units in the week between January 27th and February 2nd, with the previous week seeing 26,484 units sold.
More surprisingly, the PS Vita managed to sell 20,457 units, slightly down from the previous week’s sales. But considering that it’s second place, thanks to the release of Disgaea 4: Return for the handheld. The PlayStation 3 came in at third place, with 14,100 units sold while the regular 3DS garnered 11,420 units in sales.
The Wii U hasn’t seen even slightly close to the high number of sales that it garnered in December, with only 8,072 units sold. Considering that the previous week saw 8,490 units sold, it’s not a big problem. But considering Nintendo’s financial situation, it’s still troubling.
