A new video on the PlayStation YouTube channel indicates that Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater—the remake for Metal Gear Solid 3—will be released in 2024. The video showcases a host of different games slated for release in 2024, and among its line-up, features Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater.
Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater was announced back in 2023. The game is slated to be a faithful recreation of Snake Eater, while still featuring more modern gameplay concepts, with Konami referring to its gameplay as “evolved”. The company has stated that the game is being developed in Unreal Engine 5.
Currently, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater doesn’t have a solid release date. The remake will be making its way on to PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
PlayStation’s video also features a host of other titles that will be released this year, including Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth, Dragon’s Dogma 2, and The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered. Interestingly, Konami and Bloober Team’s remake of Silent Hill 2 is also featured in the trailer.
