Microsoft Exec On Couch Co-Op Games & Hard Drives For Xbox One

Good Guy Phil Spencer, that's his new name.

I’ve been a huge fan of same screen co operative games, one of the most read articles I’ve produced was a feature on the topic. Some would say that Gears of War, Halo and Splinter Cell: Conviction are some of the best modern examples.

Phil Spencer, the big cheese at Xbox, agrees that the dying gameplay mode should see a revival after taking to Twitter to say, “We need more same screen co-op games, played Chariot with my wife last night, nice fun game. Well done @FrimaStudios.”

Whilst on Twitter, he says that he understands “the need” for more hard drive space in the Xbox One, a problem that has been plaguing many gamers that own a large library of games that are heavy on memory usage. He does however note that the temporary solution is the same as what everyone else is doing, including himself. Simply whack a USB HD into your Xbox One until such a time as bigger hard drives arrive.
