Microsoft Fixes Multiplayer and Party Chat Issues In New Xbox One Update

A minor annoyance is now no more.

At this point, the major work of overhauling and fixing the Xbox One OS, and its foundation and UI, has been done. Thanks to constant, monthly feature rich updates from the folks at Redmond, the major shortcomings of the Xbox One UI have been patched out and dealt with, and only smaller improvements remain to be made. And that’s what June’s update will bring with it, as one of the longstanding annoyances of the Xbox One UI will be addressed when it goes live.

Specifically, a bug that created issues with party chat notifications, or with initiating the multiplayer mode in several games, appears to have been targeted by this update. As always, right now this update is limited to only the Preview Program, although it should be released to the general public soon.
