Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 Patch Fixes Crashes, Missing Cursor for Xbox Live Sign-in

Issues like losing focus when making a new input profile or getting stuck in help pages when accessing the menu bar are also fixed.

Asobo Studio’s Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 had an eventful launch last week, with server issues and long initial loading times preventing many from logging in on day one. Though the development team addressed these issues, there have been others, including crashes and stuttering.

A new patch addresses the former, though PC players are advised to move any outdated packages from their Community folder to avoid issues. Some crash fixes include one for “As Arrival” in the EFB and various other points throughout the title.

Of course, there are other fixes, like restoring the missing cursor when signing into Xbox Live or ensuring that a new input profile doesn’t cause a loss of focus. Those who got stuck in help pages by bringing up the menu bar should also find the issue fixed.

Check out the full patch notes below for more details. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is available for Xbox Series X/S and PC. Check out our review for the positives, including its gorgeous locales and in-depth Career Mode.
