For a while now, some portion of the Xbox One’s fan base believes that the console has some secret sauce in the form of additional components that Microsoft will unleash in the future. However Microsoft’s lead planner for Xbox, Aaron Greenberg has outright denied that such a feature exists within the Xbox One.
Speaking on Twitter, he stated that the components within the console are well understood and there is nothing secret in there. However he believes that just like with the Xbox 360, games will look improve with time. He believes that both the Xbox One and PS4 have improved a lot since launch, however he teases that there is much more to come.
On a related note, Microsoft’s Aaron Greenberg has decribed Xbox One’s line up for 2015 as the greatest in Xbox’s history. He might be right if this previous report is anything to go by. However he is tight lipped regarding whether there will be any megatons during. However, Greenberg did not denied it, possibly indicating that there might be major announcements from Microsoft at E3 and Gamescom.
@Eren_Yaehger @parasite76 Yes. The components in the box are well understood. Nothing secret in there.
