Microsoft Reportedly Planning Two Digital Events For Xbox Series X Reveals

One is allegedly coming in May, and one in June.

With next-gen consoles dropping at the end of the year (if things go to plan, at least), we’re starting to hear more new information about both of them. As far as the Xbox Series X is concerned, it seems like Microsoft might be planning to reveal even more significant details soon.

Known Xbox leaker Timdog recently took to Twitter and spoke about Microsoft’s plans, saying that Xbox Series X reveals will be made in the next 2-3 months. As per him, an Inside Xbox presentation is planned for June, but before that, another digital event has been lined up for as early as May. Timdog claims that Microsoft is going to have a lot to talk about- including the long-rumoured Lockhart, which is supposedly a cheaper variant of the Xbox Series X.

A digital event in June is essentially a given at this point, considering that Microsoft had big plans for E3 2020, and announced that they’d be hosting their own digital event as replacement after the show got cancelled. A May event is something we’re hearing about for the first time, and while it’s always best not to put too much stock in leaks until we hear something from official channels, it’s entirely possible that Microsoft wants to stagger the output of information over two months to keep the hype going. Either way, we’ll keep you updated, so stay tuned.
