The Xbox One X launched almost a week ago worldwide, and many might argue that this was perhaps one of the best times Microsoft could have done so. With the holiday season approaching, you can definitely expect sales for all consoles to spike a little bit, and thanks to the Xbox One X, that spike might be a little higher in the figures for the Xbox One than it will be with its competitors.
Surprisingly enough, though, Microsoft aren’t looking to capitalize on that possibility by releasing bundles specifically for the holiday season. A fan recently asked Aaron Greenberg, head of marketing at Microsoft’s Xbox division, if there would be any bundles available for those were looking to purchase an Xbox One X this holiday, to which Greenberg replied that Microsoft weren’t planning on launching any bundles for the Holiday season.
It is, admittedly, surprising, since bundles are often a nice way to give sales a bit of a boost, but we don’t expect this to have any real impact on the overall commercial performance of the Xbox One X. It’s recent launch should be enough by itself to give the system’s sales a boost over the next few months.
