After a long wait, fans of DICE’s experimental original first person parkour platformer finally have what is being billed as a far better realized follow up to the game- Mirror’s Edge Catalyst shouldn’t exist, but it does, and it represents a second chance being given to the brand to become a major IP, where the first game failed. Will it achieve that? That is currently unknown- but for many fans, it is probably enough that this game exists.
