Monster Hunter Rise is going to launch on PC in few short months, and if Monster Hunter World’s PC port is anything to go by, series fans who prefer to play on PC have plenty to look forward to. If you’re among those who’re waiting to dive into the game when it releases for PC, its minimum and recommended requirements have now been revealed via the game’s Steam page.
As you’d expect from a game originally built for the Switch, the requirements aren’t too demanding. On minimum settings, you’ll need either an i3-4130, or an i5-3460, or an FX-6100, along with either a DDR4 GeForce GT 1030 or a Radeon RX 550. Meanwhile, on recommended settings, you’ll need either an i5-4460 or an FX-8300, along with either a GeForce GTX 1060 (3 GB VRAM) or a Radeon RX 570 (4 GB VRAM). RAM and storage requirements stay the same across both settings at 8 GB and 23 GB respectively.
Monster Hunter Rise will launch for PC on January 12, 2022. You can see the game’s PC version in action through here. The game’s expansion, Sunbreak, will launch simultaneously for PC and Switch in Summer 2022.
