Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak’s first major Title Update recently went live yesterday. However, Capcom has announced that the expansion’s demo is “temporarily” unavailable on Nintendo Switch and PC. A quick search on Steam and the Nintendo eShop reveals that it’s been pulled since the update’s release.
Those who have already downloaded the demo can continue playing it. But it’s currently unknown when it will become available again. Capcom apologized for “any inconvenience” caused and said it would provide “more detailed information” when it learns more.
Available since June 16th, the Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak demo allowed players to try out four hunts before the expansion’s release. These include (in ascending order of difficulty) Great Izuchi, Tetranadon, Astalos and Malzeno. Players could try out new skills and techniques along with Master Rank equipment, albeit in fixed loadouts, with no limit to the number of tries for hunts.
Stay tuned for more details on the demo and its potential return in the future. For more details on the expansion, check out our review here.
