Are you still seeking your pride and accomplishment within Star Wars Battlefront II, but getting kind of tired of grinding online? Well the good news is that the Arcade mode, originally intended mainly for training has gained enough traction to get the team working on more content for the PvE mode.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 Design Director Dennis Brannvall confirmed on Twitter that the team is excited to make new content for Arcade, since it was doing so unexpectedly well. The mode was a new inclusion to Battlefront II, and allows solo or co-operative play against AI enemies in a similar fashion as the actual multiplayer.
At the same time, Brannvall confirmed that a Clone Wars specific playlist is coming, allowing players who want to enjoy those maps exclusively to do so. No specifics were given beyond “coming”. DICE announced last week that the revamped progression system for the game is nearly ready and will be detailed in March, roughly four months after the disastrous loot box riddled launch that reverberated throughout the industry and forced them to remove the predatory loot boxes.
