Namco Bandai has announced that Dark Souls 2 will be launching for the PC on April 25.
The PC version of the upcoming action RPG will boast of better frame rate and higher resolution visuals, claims Namco, and it will also support both, controllers and keyboard and mouse input methods for playing.
Namco has also announced some pre-order bonuses for PC players who’re looking to buy Dark Souls 2. If you pre-order the game or buy its Collector’s Edition through Steam, GameStop, Amazon or Club Namco, you’ll gain access to Black Armor Weapons pack, which will include weapons that Namco claims will give players an edge over the game’s punishing difficulty from the get go.
Other than this, players who pre-order the game will also get access to a PDF copy of the game’s art book, a PDF copy of the Dark Souls 2 comic book and MP3 files of the game’s soundtrack, all for $50.
The Collector’s Edition, which will cost $110, will include a download code for the game, a collectable metal case, a 12 inch Warrior Knight action figure, a cloth map, the game’s soundtrack and a hardbound art book.
Dark Souls 2 will be releasing on the PS3 and the Xbox 360 on March 11, over a month before the PC version releases.
