Naughty Dog Explains Why Uncharted 4 Won’t Be A Failure, Over 200 People Are Looking At It Daily

Over 200 people monitoring the game on a daily basis.

In an interview conducted by PlayStation Germany, Naughty Dog’s Arne Meyer was asked how Naughty Dog won’t screw up with Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. Arne explained that they have a development team of over 200 people who are consistently looking after the game, thereby ensuring that the game will strictly adhere to the hallmark of previous Uncharted games.

“I think everything we do and everyone has the best interests in the game and the characters, so we carefully craft both the narrative and the experience and in the studio everyone cares about Uncharted, cares about the character. So you have more than 200 people looking at this game every single day, trying to make the best it can be,” Arne explained.

“You are getting all sorts of inputs in all sorts of ways so if something feels off or something could be better you are going to hear about it. It improves the game and that ability for anyone in the studio to come to Neil [Druckmann] to talk about story, to come to any of the lead designers to talk about a particular section they are working on for feedback. This is something that makes our game special which enables to us to carry on the traditions and the hallmark of thee Uncharted series.”

Given that all the previous entries in the series were nothing short of spectacular we can be rest assured that the game will turn out just fine. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End launches on the PS4 in 2016. Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below and stay tuned for more news and updates.
