NBA 2K Playgrounds 2, the sequel to the two-on-two arcade game that spins off from 2K Sports’ basketball sim franchise, will be coming to PC and consoles on October 16, 2K has announced. Along with the confirmation of this release date, you can check out the gameplay trailer below, which showcases exactly what this arcade basketball game is all about.
The game will feature Hall of Famer Julius “Dr. J” Erving on the cover, along with up and coming Celtics star Jayson Tatum, NBA All-Star Karl-Anthony Towns, and NBA Champion Kevin Garnett. Along with the release date, the game’s title has also been changed from NBA Playgrounds 2 to NBA 2K Playgrounds 2. The game will allow players to try out their skills in over ten new courts, with over 100 signature moves, and there will also be a lot of customization items available. Additionally, you will be able to play the game solo, with friends, or online in a ranked league.
