New Killzone Shadow Fall Patch Released, Adds Support For Upcoming DLC

Available now.

A new patch for Killzone: Shadow Fall has been released, bringing the version number up to 1.26. This patch does many, many things, chief among them being adding support for the upcoming Interceptor DLC. It also changes the visual crosshair for the LS36, VC15 and VC30 guns, with the reticule contracting on the target to indicate the effectiveness of the shot on the enemy.

The patch also changes other things- the hit responses for the VC30 have been enhanced, melee combat has been re-enabled while you are cloaked, and several minor bugs related to installation and Trophy localization.

All in all, Guerrilla Games’ seems to be pretty receptive to the community and what it wants- the issue related to Brutal Melee while cloaked in particular has been a sticky and contentious issue, and it’s good to see that the developers are listening to what the community wants, instead of obstinately sticking to their ‘vision.’
