NieR Automata PC Version Release Date Isn’t Confirmed Yet

But the team is doing their best to get it out as soon as they can.

NieR Automaata‘s western release date has now been confirmed at last- the game will be launching in North America and Europe in March 2017. But as of right now, that release date is only for the PS4 version- the release of the Steam version hasn’t yet been laid down in stone.

Speaking on Twitter, the director of the game confirmed that Square Enix had the final call on the release date of the PC version of the game, while Dan Seto of Square Enix also stated that the PC version’s release date hadn’t yet been confirmed, though he stressed that the team would be trying their best to get it out at the same time as the PS4 version of the game.

So, as of right now, the PS4 version is the one you want to go for if you are looking at getting the game as soon as it is out- with that said, hopefully Square can manage a simultaneous PC release for the game, so players won’t have too wait too long for what is likely to be the best version of the game.
