When Team Ninja and Koei Tecmo’s Nioh 2 launches next year, it’ll be bringing with it the tense ad thrilling action RPG combat that made the first game so good. And while that’s more than enough reason to be excited for it, another thing the game is doing that’s looking very interesting is multiplayer, which allows players to tackle the game and its challenges together.
Recently, Sony PlayStation Live Show 2019 from Osaka, where the game’s developers came on-stage show a live demonstration of Nioh 2’s multiplayer. The footage in question shows three players tackling multiple hurdles together, while also going into an intense boss fight. It’s looking like it’s going to be an incredibly fun way to play the game, and for those who’re looking forward to it, this should only serve as positive reinforcement. You can take a look at it below- the video’s timestamped, so just hit play.
Nioh 2 will be out exclusively for the PS4 early 2020, though a more specific release date hasn’t yet been announced.
