The original Nioh was somewhat of an unexpected hit when it was released. That first game from Team Ninja sold nearly 3 million copies, making a sequel a no-brainer. Nioh 2 was revealed las year, and today we got a lot of new screens from the game to show a lot of different aspects from the title.

The screens contain a lot from various parts of the game, with one of the biggest ones showing the depth of the character creation the game will have. Several playable characters are here looking very distinct and different from one another, showing the range of options you’ll have to chose from. But we also get a look at the Japanese-inspired settings, yokai that range from cute to just plain nasty and ugly, weapons and the various enemies that you’ll face off against. You can check out the bundle of screenshots below.

Nioh 2 will release exclusively for PlayStation 4 sometime in early 2020. An open beta will run for 10 days from November 1st-10th.
