No Man’s Sky Patch Deploying Soon, Dev Believes It Will Make People “Very Happy”

A PC and PS4 patch is coming soon, and it will make players "very happy."

It’s been around a week since the release of the highly-anticipated No Man’s Sky, and developer Hello Games plans on releasing an update for the game soon. Hello Games founder and director Sean Murray believes that the upcoming PS4 and PC patch will “make some people very happy.”

If you have been playing No Man’s Sky on PC, then it’s likely you have ran into a decent amount of problems, whether it’s performance-related or regular bugs and errors. The studio recently launched an “experimental branch” over on Steam, where players can participate in testing an update before it fully releases, and providing feedback on how the game performs. It provides “improved AMD Phenom Support,” “Shader Caching,” “Max FPS Cap,” “Mouse Jitter”and general overall performance improvements.

However, it’s not sure whether Murray is referring to the “experimental branch” or an entirely separate update that will come to PC and PS4. We’ll have to wait and see.
