It has not been a good day for No Man’s Sky leaks. Sony themselves managed to leak the final price of the long awaited indie game earlier today, when they mistakenly pulled the trigger on listing it for pre-order on the PSN Store and the PlayStation Blog. And now, Amazon appears to have leaked the release date for the game in an email sent out to anyone who pre-ordered the game from them.
The game, which until now had a June 2016 release date, appears to be hitting (digital) stores on June 21, 2016, if Amazon is to be believed (via Mammoth Gamers)- and at the very least, they feel confident enough in this date to add it into their system over the previous December 31 2016 placeholder date they had.
If true, this means the game would come right after E3- traditionally a good time for a title to launch (The Last of Us and Batman: Arkham Knight both launched in June). However, that ‘if’ is the big question here- we’re gonna wait until Hello Games update us officially on this, though I’d say this seems to be a reasonably sure shot thing.
