Oddworld Inhabitants’ Oddworld: Soulstorm received a new trailer recently, offering a brief look at various aspects of the gameplay. From crafting different items to bypass obstacles to commanding other Mudokons, there was quite a bit to see. Check it out below.
As the long-awaited follow-up to Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty, Oddworld: Soulstorm sees Abe leading his kind in a revolution of sorts. While the platforming of its predecessor remains, players now have a wider range of tools available. There’s also the Quarma system which provides feedback to Abe’s actions and will ultimately influence his abilities.
Along with leading followers, you can also choose to gift them items and decide their overall behavior. Overall, with its size and scale, the developer estimates 15 hours of playtime though that can increase for those hunting achievements. There are also badges, leaderboards and so on to indulge in.
Oddworld: Soulstorm is out in Spring 2021 for PS4, PS5 and PC via the Epic Games Store.
