Wccftech has been covering upcoming arcade racer ONRUSH, and recently spoke to Game Director Paul Rustchynsky regarding a lot of aspects of the game. The most interesting of which, and the subject of this story is how the ultimate 4K power of Xbox One X and the PS4 Pro will be used.
While both the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X will have the option to switch between displaying at 4K or running at 60FPS, the Xbox One X will enjoy a higher pixel count and better textures thanks to the hardware advantages that are becoming increasingly clear next to the PS4 Pro. The developers were unable to be specific about by how much higher resolution the Xbox One X will reach because they’re still nailing it down themselves.
Unsurprisingly, the PC version which will launch after the console versions will surpass the Xbox One X, if your rig can take the heat. When asked about the Nintendo Switch, it wasn’t outright denied, but Rustchynsky was clear that it wasn’t under consideration at this time, as they’re focused on the platforms they were already developing for. ONRUSH is set for release this June.
