There hasn’t been a ton of information about Moon Studios’ eagerly anticipated Ori and The Will of the Wisps, which was first revealed at Microsoft’s E3 2017 presser. However, the developer has released a new video showcasing the cinematic tools that are being used for boss battles and conversations with NPCs.
Check it out below just to see what’s changed (and improved) about the development process. In fact, it’s interesting to see how the tools allow the studio to make changes immediately, thus increasing productivity for the animation team as a whole.
Ori and The Will of the Wisps will be releasing for the Xbox One and Windows 10 PC though a release date hasn’t been confirmed. It’s a follow-up to Ori and The Blind Forest, the critically acclaimed platformer that released in 2015. Interestingly, Another Metroid 2 Remake creator Milton Guasti – who’s project was cancelled due to a cease and desist letter from Nintendo – has been tapped to work on level design.
