Pachter: GTA V will be released on Oct 23rd, won’t be shown at E3

Micheal Pachter, the analyst from Wedbush Morgan has chimed in on when he thinks GTA V will be shown. He says that it will be unveiled before E3, because Rockstar is too cool for that show and have outgrown it.

He has a point, though.

“They’ve outgrown the show. I think they’re way too cool to go,” he said.

“My read on those guys is they like stealing the thunder from everything else. So if I had to bet, I’d say you’d get an announcement on GTA V the day before E3 starts, that’d be Monday, June 4. they don’t show up and that’s all anybody can do is talk about GTA V at the show.”

He does not expect Rockstar to care about 2k Games’ Bioshock Infinite, and believes they will release GTA V in October.

It remains to be seen if that will happen or not. Tell us what you think in the comments section below.
