While it’s unclear if real life sports will be returning this summer due to COVID-19, at the very least they will be right on schedule in the virtual space. 2K Games and EA are in the midst of revealing their annual sports lineup, and 2K has a brand new entry in the form of PGA 2K21, and today we got word on when we could be swinging our virtual clubs.
The game was revealed earlier in the month, and is effectively replacing HB Studios’ The Golf Club series. The game will come to all major current platforms, with the cover athlete of Justin Thomas and will feature single player as well a variety of multiplayer modes such as Alt-Shot, Stroke Play, Skins and 4-Player Scramble. You can pre-order now to get some swagger for your swing with the 2K/adidas CODECHAOS MyPLAYER Pack, of which you can see at the end of the trailer below.
PGA Tour 2K21 will launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, PC and Stadia on August 21st with both standard and digital deluxe editions.
