Phasmophobia Targets 4K/60 FPS on Consoles, Has a 120 FPS Mode on Xbox Series X

On Xbox Series S, the co-op horror title will run at 1080p and 60 FPS, while on PlayStation VR2, it will target 2000x2400 resolution per eye, with a 60Hz refresh rate.

After repeated delays, Phasmophobia’s console release is finally almost here, and ahead of its arrival on new platforms, developer Kinetic Games has revealed details on the co-op horror title’s technical targets on all consoles. 

On both PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, features two modes, both targeting 4K/60 FPS, presumably with the native resolution being lower in the Performance Mode. Meanwhile, Xbox Series X also features a 120 FPS option, which isn’t available on PS5. 

On Xbox Series S, Phasmophobia will run at 1080p and 60 FPS, with no other graphics mode being available. Finally, on PlayStation VR2, the game will run at a native resolution of 2000×2400 per eye, at a 60Hz refresh rate and 120Hz reprojection rate. 

Phasmophobia is currently available on PC, and launches for consoles on October 29. The game has sold over 20 million units since its early access launch in 2020, Kinetic Games recently announced.
