PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Will Let You Choose Your Map Soon

It couldn't be avoided any longer.

Right now, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds puts all players into a common pool, not letting them select which of its two (soon to be three) maps. That will soon change. PUBG Corp has indicated that it will soon allow players to select what map they want to play on, also claiming that the matchmaking issues that it alleged would come about as a result will not apply, since they have apparently found a way to circumvent them.

This means that for those of you who want to skip the divisive desert map Miramar, for example, or just work on playing on one map to master it, you finally get the chance to do so in game, without having to delete map files from your computer (which some players had taken to doing).

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is available now on Xbox One and PC. For now, the option will be available only on the PC version of the game.
