The release of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds on Xbox One is approaching rapidly and while it will be available as an Xbox Game Preview title, there will be digital and physical releases for the Battle Royale extravaganza. However, if you’re going to play Last Man Standing, then you’ll need roughly 30 GB of storage space on your console.
According to Windows Central, which managed to obtain a supposed retail box for the game, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds requires “up to 30 GB storage”. It also noted that this amount could change, which makes sense considering Bluehole is still in the midst of testing version 1.0 for launch later in December on PC. How much of the version makes it to the Xbox One release is still up in the air.
Still, this provides a rough idea on how much space is needed. PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds releases for Xbox One on December 12th. Version 1.0 arrives in late December – or at least that’s currently the plan as test servers for the update are currently available.
