While PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is a hugely successful game on the PC, there are still many issues to address, especially the prevalence of cheating. Developer PUBG Corp. has been hard at work in trying to implement anti-cheat measures in the game so as to ensure a fair gaming environment. In a new update, the team has tried to address the issue of cheating, but a problem has occurred whereby random players’ accounts have been banned.
The number of players who have been banned is quite high with these players claiming that they haven’t cheated in the game. The developer has now responded to these concerns and stated that the problem was caused due to a “detection logic bug” and that the team is working on a fix to resolve the issue.
Hopefully, the developer is able to fix the issue and innocent players can get back to enjoying their game.
