Illfonic’s Predator: Hunting Grounds is an asymmetrical multiplayer title where a fireteam of soldiers goes up against the ultimate hunter, the Predator, in the jungle. As such, there are a lot of things to keep in mind while playing. To demonstrate how rounds can typically go, the developer has released some extensive multiplayer footage ahead of this weekend’s trial. Check it out below.
There are four different classes for the soldiers, three of which are available in the trail weekend – Assault, Scout and Support. On the Predator side, only the Scout is available but there are two others – Berserker and Hunter – to control in the final game. Depending on which side you’re on, the overall objectives will vary.
For example, the soldiers have to complete different objectives against enemy NPCs and can either escape the Predator or hunt it down. Meanwhile, the Predator sticks to the shadows, taking out each team member with a variety of deadly abilities. The trial weekend runs from March 27th to 29th so there will be plenty of time to experience the core gameplay.
Predator: Hunting Grounds releases on April 24th for PS4 and on PC via the Epic Games Store.
