Prey Trailer Explores Neo-Deco Art of Talos 1

The space station holds its fair share of beauty.

Though it’s a ways off from release – or even a release date announcement – Arkane Studios’ Prey is already looking pretty cool. Featuring shape-shifting aliens (whose techniques you can adapt) within a huge space station called Talos 1, Prey will see Morgan Yu in the year 20132 trying to survive when things go horribly wrong.

Prey’s art-style has very interesting themes surrounding it though. Taking place in a timeline where President Kennedy wasn’t assassinated, it sees the United States investing heavily in its space program. Talos 1 is the result and represents an interesting “neo-deco” art style for both the station and the overall future. Creative director Raphael Colantonio talks more about the same in the video below.

Prey is currently slated for 2017 and will arrive on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. What are your thoughts on the game thus far? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more information in the coming year.
