Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy Launching February 28 in North America

The final saga in the British Gentleman's story.

Professor Layton, the inimitable puzzle solving gentleman who doubles as gaming’s own Sherlock Holmes, will be getting his sixth, and final, game releasing in North America on February 28, Nintendo has announced.

The final part of the prequel trilogy of the series, which is also the final game period (at least for the foreseeable future) in Level 5’s breakout series released in Japan earlier this year, and in European territories just recently. North America gets the game last, in February 2014.

February 2014 promises to be an exciting month for 3DS owners on the whole in the region, with Bravely Default, the lovely traditional looking JRPG exclusive to the system, also releasing then in the territory; it released in Japan more than a year ago, and will release in Europe next month.

Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy will be the second game in the series on Nintendo’s 3DS. The first game was Miracle Mask, which launched with the system in Japan in 2011, and was one of the headlining holiday titles for it everywhere else last year. Check out our review for the game here.
