Project CARS Finally Goes Gold, Track List Revealed

Slightly Mad Studios' highly anticipated racing sim is finally complete and ready for distribution.

After facing delay after delay after delay (and a cancellation of its previous gen versions), Slightly Mad Studios’ Project CARS is finally ready to release. And if you have any doubt of that happening, then you’ll be pleased to hear that the game has gone gold.

Studio head Ian Bell stated that, “We know the wait for the game to be released was worth it, as we’re confident the quality and realism level we have achieved will provide our fans with the game they are all expecting.”

Details on the tracks have also been revealed. Over 30 locations are on hand including Nurburgring, Summerton, Willow Springs, Spa, Hockenheimring, Monza and much more.

Project CARS will be out on May 8th for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Slightly Mad Studios has also revealed that the racing sim will be 1080p resolution on the PS4 and 900p on the Xbox One though both games will run at 60 FPS.
