PS Now to Eventually Incorporate PS1 and PS2 Games in Long Term

Sony currently focused on bringing PS3 library to streaming service.

Sony’s PlayStation Now All-Access subscription may have raised some concern over the $20 per month pricing but there’s no denying that there are several benefits to a subscription. Aside from having access to more than 100 PS3 games a month and the prospect of PS4 games also being available, PS Now’s Director of Marketing Peter Jamshidi says that PS1 and PS2 games will be a part of it.

“There are some amazing games for PS1 and PS2 and our longer term vision is to go back further into the PlayStation generational library and offer those with PlayStation Now. Right now however, we are focused on bringing to users experiences from the amazing PS3 library.”

If Sony offers such a cumulative package of games and manages connectivity and streaming to ensure the smoothest experience, PS Now could turn into a big prospect. What are your thoughts on PS Now having PS1 and PS2 games? Let us know below.
