Back in 2014, we reported on Without Memory, PS4 exclusive title that was being worked on by Russian developer Dinosaurum Games. However over the last several months, we haven’t heard anything about the title regarding its development status and release schedule. According to this report from December 2014, the developer canceled the game’s crowdfunding campaign and remove the game’s trailer after receiving “harsh” criticism.
However it seems that the project may be still alive after all. As pointed out by NerdLeaks Twitter account, a freelance concept artist, Alexander Pavlenko has shared concept art from the game on Artstation. You can check out the concepts below. In my opinion, the concept art look pretty amazing, giving off a futuristic and sci-fi vibe.
The game’s original plot was based on a psychological thriller played in the third-person perspective, featuring three characters from the past, present and future. The game developers took heavy inspiration from Quantic Dream to develop a cinematic game. Exactly how much of the game has drifted from its original vision is unknown at this point. We have reached out to Dinosaurum Games for a clarification and will keep you updated once we hear from them.
