Developers of PS4 Exclusive Without Memory Cancel Crowdfunding Campaign

'We were not ready.'

Without Memory

We have covered the upcoming PlayStation 4 exclusive Without Memory before; developed by a Russian studio, the game aims to replicate the kind of experience provided by David Cage’s ‘games’ (sigh), and we have been promised a top notch game.

But when the studio put the game on local crowdfunding website BoomStarter, they immediately received a lot of harsh criticism, particularly about how bad the game looked, especially in context of all the lofty promises the developers have been making for a while now.

The crowdfunding campaign itself failed, and as a result, the developers terminated the campaign, took down the trailer, refunded the money and apologized, stating that it is clear that they were not ready to launch the campaign yet, particularly since what they have on hand right now is nowhere near close to what they promised.

Talk about a series of drastic measures. Hopefully Machinarium Games can rally around the situation and come out on the top regardless.
