The UK PlayStation Store has gone live before the release of the PlayStation 4 in Europe. And the prices aren’t pretty. An image has been doing the rounds showcasing prices for games such as Battlefield 4 and Need for Speed Rivals. Check it out below.
Each game retails for £62.99, which is rough $102 in the United States. Considering the absolute absurdity in pricing, one wonders whether these are actually the final prices or not. Also take into consideration that these games retail for £47 on Amazon UK. The question is: What about those UK players who want to download games off the PS Store and play as they download?
The PlayStation 4 will launch in Europe on November 29th. It is currently available in the United States with launch titles such as Killzone: Shadow Fall, Knack, Battlefield 4, Need for Speed Rivals, Call of Duty: Ghosts and Resogun. Stay tuned for more details as the launch approaches.
