Following the closed beta that recently took place for id Software’s Quake Champions, publisher Bethesda has confirmed a “large-scale tech test” for May 12th. That means it will be open for everyone. All you have to do is sign up. You can share gameplay footage and other media.
This test will end on May 21st and will feature a new 4v4 mode called Sacrifice. Essentially, players will have to “work together to dominate the Arenas,” whatever that means. It will be available for the entire tech test so you’ll have plenty of time to find out. More information will be coming in the next few days so stay tuned.
Quake Champions was unveiled at last year’s E3 and seems like a mix of the classic Quake-style arena combat and class-based shooters. It’s in development exclusively for the PC at this point with no signs of heading to consoles. What are your thoughts on the game thus far? Let us know below.
