Remnant 2 Principal Designer Says “No One Has Seen or Obtained 100 Percent” of the Game

Gunfire Games' Ben Cureton says the co-op shooter has "secrets within secrets within secrets" but is still pretty Achievement-friendly.

Gunfire Games’ Remnant 2 is out next week for all players, but those with the Ultimate Edition can get three days of early access. Even with that headstart, they’re in for a long ride. Principal designer Ben Cureton revealed on Twitter, “No one has seen or obtained 100% of everything #Remnant2 has to offer.”

“No one” refers to pretty much everyone who got their hands on the game, from “hardcore players with over 400+ hours” to “reviewers that had early access, even our internal developers. No one.” Cureton touts the title as having “secrets within secrets within secrets.” While you could interpret this as tons of content being included, it’s also somewhat of a reassurance that players will have plenty to discover, even if some things get spoiled.

However, if you want to earn all of the Achievements and Trophies, Remnant 2 is pretty accommodating. However, for those who want to go even further beyond, Cureton says the team kept the game “rewarding long after you’ve hit that goal”, and there’s “Lots more in store!”

Remnant 2 launches on July 25th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. Check out our official review for more details on what makes it so good.
