When Remnant 2 launches later this year, it will let players go through its offerings as one of several classes, quite few details on which have been revealed by developer Gunfire Games in recent weeks. A little over a month ago, the developer revealed one of the game’s classes (or archetypes, as it calls them) with the Handler, and more details on it have now been revealed with another new trailer.
The Handler is described as a “jack-of-all-trades” archetype, with perks that have been “designed for utility”. The biggest draw of this class, however, is a loyal canine companion that will always travel with you and fight alongside you. Certain perks will also make the dog more effective in combat, to the extent of automatically being able to revive you or your teammates should you get downed.
The Handler will also be able to issue direct commands to their furry friend, including attacking specific foes, falling back to yourself, guarding allies, or even use special moves that can draw aggro, grant defensive and offensive buffs to you and your team, and more. Check out the trailer below for more details.
Previously, Gunfire Games also released details and gameplay footage for the Gunslinger archetype- check it out through here.
Remnant 2 is due out this Summer for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
