Resident Evil Requiem Themed Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller, amiibo Announced

The Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller Resident Evil Requiem Edition is priced at $99.99 and will be out on the same day as the game.

During its recent Resident Evil Requiem showcase, Capcom has unveiled a new special Nintendo Switch 2 Pro controller that will be released alongside the game on February 27. Functionally, this themed Pro Controller will be the same as any other that has been released for the Switch 2. Check it out in the image gallery below.

However, it also features a special graphic based on game elements, including a newspaper with mentions of various plot elements, like the events at Raccoon City Police Department from Resident Evil 2, and the mystery behind Elpis. The Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller Resident Evil Requiem Edition will be priced at $99.99.

“Take your gaming to the next level with the Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller Resident Evil Requiem Edition, featuring a gunmetal-black visual design with in-world newspaper articles that capture the dark and immersive atmosphere of Resident Evil Requiem,” reads the controller’s description on the official Nintendo website.

Along with this, Capcom has also confirmed that it will be working with Nintendo to release a new Resident Evil Requiem-based amiibo. While it wasn’t revealed during the presentation, a quick peek at the game’s official website indicates that it will be based on Grace Ashcroft and launch in Summer 2026.

Capcom has also reiterated that the release of Resident Evil Requiem will coincide with the release of Resident Evil 7 Gold Edition and Resident Evil Village Gold Edition on the Nintendo Switch 2. These releases will include all their respective DLC.
